Custom Digital Pet Portraits
PHOTO TAKING TIPS
1. Photo clarity is everything!
2. Get down at your pet's eye level.
3. Get in close. Fill up that view finder!
4. Natural light is best when possible.
5. Look at your photos like you are a STRANGER.
6. Not sure if your photo is a great reference photo?
- Great photos make great pet portraits!
- Can you see your pet’s eyes and fur?
- Cell phone pictures are wonderful as long as the eyes, fur, etc. are crisp.
2. Get down at your pet's eye level.
- A 'head shot' type photo is perfect...head and shoulders, with all the awesome details.
3. Get in close. Fill up that view finder!
- Full body shot? Great! Just don't take it from across the street. Get in there!
4. Natural light is best when possible.
- This is not a hard and fast rule. Amazing photos happen indoors!
- If good pics of your pet are a challenge, natural light may help you pick up better colors and fur patterns.
- Some pets are photogenic. Others simply take a little effort. Good luck!
5. Look at your photos like you are a STRANGER.
- Does Gremlin look like Gremlin in that favorite photo of yours?
- Like people, pets can look different in every photo! The photos you submit will be my reference photos.
6. Not sure if your photo is a great reference photo?
- Just send it to me, and I'll take a look. I'll be super nice and informative about it, too!
I WANT THIS TO BE A GREAT EXEPERIENCE FOR YOU.
