I miss pizza parties and holidays!

Here's the story of how my half-and-half pizza illustration came to be.

WHICH CAME FIRST: THE PIE OR THE SLICES?

HINT:
The half-and-half pizza project started out a little something like this:

It wasn't a pizza project at all. It was trees! Festive trees.
I love the holidays. And since I also enjoy pizza, the trees reminded me of cheesy slices, pepperoni, and a few other fixins'. 

SO I MADE SOME SLICES!

I wondered how the pieces would fit if I made a whole pie with them--​and here we are. 

​My favorite part about the end design is the grease. I'm adding more because I love greasy pizza. And holidays.
