It's Time!

...for the 9th Annual Big 500 Art Show!

This is my 4th year participating in this awesome show.

The Big 500 isn't your regular art show, though...this one is an EVENT!

Over 500 artists have completed up to 20 pieces of 8"x8" art.   This year there are over 6000 pieces of art (I heard)!   All $40/each.  

Here are my 15 pieces:

 The beauty of this event, aside from part of the proceeds going to the food bank...is that ALL art is hung at random.  

None of it has title cards or artist names (other than on the back).   That means you've got beginner artists mixed in with local celebrity artists for an even playing field!   So you give a new artist a confidence boost...or you get a high end piece of art for $40!  It's all the same here!

There are bagpipes and a parade to open the event and people line up to try to get the piece they've been eyeing on social media.  

So get there early!   But if you don't, the show will be up for a few weeks and there are always INCREDIBLE pieces available until the final day.

I'm working diligently on holiday PET PORTRAITS.   I'm now taking orders for 2017 if you would like to have one of your very own.
