HISTORY:

Last Fall, when rain was on the pavement, I gently dragged my boyfriend to a 'Paint Your Pet' night at The Loaded Brush.     That resulted in these.  We get total joy out of them.

Mike was not initially amped up for this outing because he's "not an artist".   
I say, "Yeah, right!"  This is his.  Wow!

Notes:
The emotion conveyed in this piece is that of worry.   A fear of the unknown...or rain, a cool breeze, fireworks, certain smells...and mail.  And reflections. In this particular scenario there is a storm brewing.

The focus of this piece is curiosity.  And need.  A need to simply know.   To know where you are going or if you are holding something that could be for a dog.  You're by the microwave.  Are those treats on your plate?  How 'bout that bag?   Is there a toy or bacon in there?

We have enjoyed both of these paintings so much.   Still, we've known the series could never be complete without a third representation.   Of the other side.

Oh, and make something fun today!  Even if it kind of sucks.  Seriously, go do it!

The month of August may be hit and/or miss on the blog frequency...but I've got a ton of new art completed and on the way.   

I also bought a piece of Chris Haberman art last week!   I can't pick it up for a few more weeks but I can't wait to share.
