You know I love all dogs like crazy, but I have a real soft spot for the pitties.

We lost our 13-year-old mix (Muddy Waters) this year, and we rescued a new one (Stevie Ray) from a county kill shelter in Texas.

Three Little Pitties All Breed Rescue saved Stevie from the shelter and we took him from there! They are a wonderful group of people and we are grateful for them.

Stevie Ray replaced more than a huge hole in our hearts. He's the sweetest dog and exactly what we needed. He saved us as much as we saved him. Muddy did that a decade ago, too...imagine that. Dogs are the best.
